From macrocosm to microcosm

The exhibition begins with a view from space of the various regions under research in the northeast and southwest of Africa. From a macrocosmic satellite-based view to a microcosmic perspective, visitors will be acquainted with the great variety of methods used by the individual disciplines and their integration in joint projects.

<b>Layer by layer – delving into the past</b><br>Water and wind deposit sediments, a cross-section of which shows distinct layers. The oldest layers are at the bottom and and the more recent ones above them.
